TBA New Organizational Team

Ven. Bhikshu Nigrodha is elected President of TBA

Due to the demise of Most Ven. Dr. Bhikshu Jannana Punnnika Mahathreo, the Chairman and Principal of Theravada Buddhist Academy, the post of Presidemt and Principal has become vacant. The TBA Management Committee selected Venerable Bhikshu Nigrodha Mahasthavira  as a Chairman. He has been working as member secretary of TBA since its establishment. He is the founder member of this organization. But now according to its regulation, the Campus Chief is the ex-officio member secretary. He has also become the Vice- President of Lumbini Development Trust.

Mr. Mahendra Ratna Shakya is selected as the Principal of TBA

Mr. Mahendra Ratna Shakya is selected as the Principal of the Theravada Buddhist Academy. He has been working as Vice- principal of TBA. He was initially appointed as the Coordinator of TBA. He is the founder member of this organization.

Theravada Buddhist Academy (TBA) Management Committee re-organized

Due to the demise of Most Ven. Dr. Bhikshu Jannana Punnnika Mahathreo, the Chairman and Principal of Theravada Buddhist Academy, TBA Management Committee is re-organized. The following thirteen member committee was formed under the chairmanship of Ven. Bhikshu Nigrodha. An advisory committee and a research committee with the following members was also formed.
